Is there such a feature in gordion knot or do we have to muz the audio, chapters and then mux the container with 3rd party programs?

I think lots of people will enjoy OGM container support (especially those who burn XCD's).

if Matroska work stable, soon nobody here will use ogm any longer

OGM is dead. I'm not sure Theora will be out one day, and if it's out, it won't compete with recent codecs.

I think it's a bit premature to sing on the death of OGM... for starters Matroska isn't really finished yet, even their PR guy admits that ;), then you have an installed userbase and legacy files that won't just go away.
@maormini: this feature request has already been posted on sourceforge so there's no need to manifest further demand. Next time please check the sourceforge page.

I totally disagree that OGM is dead as a usable container format. I would agree that it is aging. I'm a Vorbis nut and my current backups use Xvid, Vorbis, and OGM. I love the chapter support, the subtitles (when they work), and the multiple audio streams. Over the last year I've built my knowledge of DVD backups around a set of tools I'm confortable with - hopefully I'll be able to smoothly migrate to Matroska as it matures. If OGM is indeed feature-complete and/or abandoned, I think people will naturally migrate to Matroska or any other format that offers the flexibility that many have come to enjoy with OGM.

If we look forward say 2 months I can't really see myself using OGM instead of Matroska (assuming they don't run into any major problems).

I've been using OGM for about half a year and it can be a pain muxing the streams manually (especially if you're doing long series, which I often do). Sure, it'd be nice if Gordian Knot could do this automatically for me, but I'd much rather see it using Matroska instead as it seems superior in most ways

@aharden - With the new VirtualDubMOD it's just as easy saving it as Matroska as OGM (but perhaps you already know this)

I just started using the newest VDubMod (haven't done many backups in the last month). I'll probably agree with you once I start playing with Matroska.
