Audio out of Sync in Jackass The Movie

Hi I've read many posts about how to correct the audio not being in sync in movies but I tried using VirtualDubMod and on a certain section of the movie, the audio is in sync but in all the other sections it is not. Another thing that happens when I open the .avi file in VirtualDub, it gives me a message that the VBR MP3 header is not right and asks if I want it to re-write the header. Can any one help? Thanks.

The similar prob of a/v getting gradually asynch I experienced is that the rip of the DVD to HD has produced some errors and the VOB files were "damaged". Rip the DVD and try it again. It worked in my case.
