Can DVDdecrypter copy a DVD-5 in one operation - DVD-5 in one drive, DVD+R in the burner?

no you need to rip to your hard drive first and then to the blank dvd. i have used dvd decryptor a little, but if you are looking for something that can do it all (crop, remove bs streams, compress size etc.) DVD shrink works great perfect for people who are somewhat new to backing up

hope this helps:)

DVD Decrypter can do a DVD-5 all in house, just not "on the fly" as you asked (from disc to disc). If it is a DVD-5, rip in ISO-Read mode to get your image. After you've got your image, change to ISO Write mode, select the file from your hard drive as the source, pop in a blank DVD in your destination, and write the image. Viola! Quick & easy with no quality loss (no compression was involved so you get a perfect 1:1 backup).
