more than two audio streams in an .avi

i want to put more than two audio streams in an .avi. until now i used nandub rc2 to make avi's with two audio-streams. i have tried virtualdub-mod, but it also offers only the possibility of two audio-streams.

as i understand .avi should be able to combine more audiostrams to a videostream. am i wrong?

yes, it is virtually possible, but if i were in you i would give up the idea :( imho avi is too weak as file format and you gonna get in trouble doin' that; try instead ogm, matroska will work much better in the near future, or use a player that can read external audio tracks.
