WMP9 divx audio ahead of video....

Morning all.

This is going to be my first time posting. YAYYY!!!

Well sufficed to say I just updated to WMP9 from WMP8 with knots in my tummy and found that after the upgrade my divx movies seem to have the audio coming out 3-5 seconds of the video track or maybe the video track is lagging 3-5 seconds behind the audio track.

This is happens from all the divx collection I have from divx 3-5.

Has anyone else ecountered this problem if so, is there a fix? If not how do I obliterate WMP9 and get 8 back short of reinstalling the OS?

What spec is your PC and which DivX codec did you use. DivX 3.11, DivX 4 or DivX 5?

wmp 9 does not seem to play divxs very well on my pc p3 850

i use sasami 2k or windows media player 6.4 or mplayer classic instead and i often have to turn the filtering on divx's down to nothing to play in sync
