if like there is a dvd disc which has a trailer on the VTS_04_01.vob , 40MB then I really have no need for it.. and not only that.. it plays right before the menu.

well ok---
I took the vob extra from the 4th vob and removed the longest title... in this case the ID 4, and there are 5 in total
but when the trailer is about to start and jump to the menu.. it freezes. I just copied the 4th set to the other files... but should I do something with the VIDEO_TS also??

Read and perform this guide (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50245) before deleting your VTS_04_01.VOB. Or you can just drag this file into another folder. Keep all your VTS_04_0.* files though and they shouldn't be big files that will give you space problems. Get VTS Sectors after your done. Play in IFOedit and PowerDVD/WinDVD to preview and test.

a bit like these ones as shown here

removing a VOB ID shouldn't really affect playback if it is only a trailer and you replace the 5 original files

anyways... I got it working now...
but now I have another problem... yipee yay what a suprise :(
perhaps I should start a new thread or something...
but after like an hour or so.... the movie gets all blocky and freezes... it may be ok later and continue watching and it may not... it can just stop totally or just flicker for a second or two. I never did check the whole movie before... and just noticed it now. I have burnt 6 movies so far,,,, and only 1 movie is perfect still. one movie I just burnt with no menues... just movie only and it was the same, no compression at all
I use the Bulk DVD-R but have also tried a philips DVD+RW. . same thing
with bulks I burn it in a macintosh Roxio Platinum the newest and the +DVDs in Nero
..so close and yet so far away

ok... Maginashun helped me in another forum... he really explained it well... This is what he wrote:
If is was home I could pull up IFOEdit and show you exactly where to go but I'm not. I don't want you to feel I dropped this though so I'll try. Try this in your newly processed VTS with only the 1 second clip in it. Open it back up. In the top box in IFOEdit you should find a line ( 3rd or 4th line ) that has the two or more PGC's in it ( looks like you have more than one from the clip times you posted ). .When you click on it it should drop down showing your PGC's. Click on the first PGC then go to the bottom box and scroll down and look for the Pre Commands and in the first line left click and choose edit command and pick something like JUMP TO VTS MENU and after you pick that there should be three boxes under it. Choose 1,1 and root. Save to your IFO but not your BUP so that if anything goes wrong you can put it back to the way it was. Now try the movie and see if it gets past the freeze. Other than that I would have to be doing it myself.
I tried.

This looks very similar, if not exact, to step 8 in this guide (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=48604) I wrote a while back.

ahhhhhhhhh Grasshopper,
it's better to find the answer to your problem instead of bypassing it. The problem will always be there and may rear it's ugly head once again
you will learn in time SidDan, to face your fears and finish the job properly and soon you will be able to do what you wish without thinking :)
in time, the art of stripping will come :D
p.s. LOL
