Since upgrading to version 3.1.6.0 I wasn't able to rip DVDs. DVD Decrypter shows an error "Waiting for device to become ready..." in the log, but then never proceeds. Furthermore, if I cancel, then my DVD-ROM disappears from the device list until I reboot.
I'm running WinXP, my DVD-ROM is MATSHITA DVD-ROM SR-8175.

Hmmm...that'll be why its waiting then!
Can you not rip any dvds?
I can imagine a problem on those which have errors, and cause the program to run a certain bit of code which I need to change (and have done in my beta version) but other than that, nothing was done between versions to cause such a problem.

Ripping DVDs in any mode doesn't work, and I've tried a dozen DVDs. The problem didn't exist in 3.1.5.0, and seems to affect this DVD-ROM; Version 3.1.6.0 seems to run fine on another DVD-ROM of mine, but its firmware's unpatched.
