Best sttting for CCE 1-pass VBR?

Are there any suggestions for the best setting for CCE 1-pass VBR? I am used to using TMPGenc CQ method for doing MPEG-1. THanks.

How do you set the bitrate tab so that no matter what I am using 2500 max bitrate and 500 min bitrate no matter the length of movie?

Set min. bitrate to 500, check min. average and set it to 2500.
