A new encoding idea

I was just thinking. Perhaps joining all the files was a bit silly. They can be encoded seperatly all at 30q then simply get the percentage needed for them all.

eg, a-20%
b-15%
c-5%
d-60%

This method would be a hell of a lot faster as their would be no need to join and later take apart the extras! Something which is proven to be a hell of a pain!

I think I will update the thingy, By the way, for the above formentioned movie I would have edited the percentages in favour of the main movie to:

eg, a-18%
b-13%
c-3%
d-66%

But perhaps it would be a better idea to encode the extras in say 30q and the main movie in 25q. This would give us better percentages in favour of the movie...hmmm But with CCEs dodgy q thingy this could be a bad idea.

Anyway expect to see a guide uploaded somewhere within a week ;-)

Nice to see somebody using a bit of lateral thinking for a change, Baker! :)

I've absolutely no objection to you posting this topic here, but purely in the interests of keeping your idea efficiently discussed in one thread, I'm going to close this thread here, and let those who are interested jump back to your original posting using your above link.
