Greetings earthanoidz. :p
I'm having problems with frameserving from FlasKMPEG. So I was wondering wether there is another program that decodes the video (and subtitles maybe) from DVD's .vob files using the .ifo file and is able to send it to a frameserver? Or if there's a way to make DVD2AVI read the .ifo?

'Cuz I'm backing up a JAPanime movie which has both english and japanese intro/end credits and if I read only the .vob files, the credits get all wierd & jumpy and the audio gets choppy. (Jumping between Cells)

In detail:
It plays a couple of seconds of the english (intro) credits, then it plays the same seconds only with japanese credits, then the next couple of seconds in english, then the same seconds in japanese. It goes on like this until the movie starts (no rasterized/rendered text), then it gets normal. It starts again when the end credits start rolling.

thx.

That's using IFOedit 0.91 instead of 0.95. It is a known fact that 0.95 does detect angles and its option is greyed-out/disabled.

You have a multi-angle DVD. Perhaps you could use an IFO parsing ripper to rip a single angle to the hard drive, such as DVD Decrypter, SmartRipper, or Vstrip. Then, DVD2AVI will work fine.

@REECYCUP

I was referring to the IFOedit 0.95's VOB Extras angle section. It doesn't detect angles if angles are present so the option is greyed out. You have to resort to 0.91 to get in enabled and working. It's a known bug. 0.95 does detect Seamless Branching though.

thx for the replies.

I've tried using VOBedit but that didn't work very well.
So you say I should use IFOedit? Is there anywhere a good guide to ripping specific angles/cells using IFOedit?

thx again.
(this is one tough DVD :cool: )
