View Full Version : Odd timecode issues

This is the first time I've run into this problem so thought I'd see if anyone else has ever had this happen.
My problem is that when I try and CCE the movie, the re-encoding runs through fine but instead of appending each re-encoded section of the VOBs to the end of the last, it overwrites the previous re-encoded sections. When I looked closer at the filesystem I noticed thru DVD2AVI status window that the timecode flips back to zero at certain points in the movie (?!) I think that CCE is reading the timecode and writing over what is already re-encoded b/c of the timecode problem.

I was trying to CCE a copy of harry potter: chamber of secrets (US, NTSC), vobs copied over fine but there is something odd about them, which I think might be a sign of whats wrong. I just have no idea what it is. The VOB files do not run the normal sizes.. (i.e. 1GB, 1GB, 1GB, 400MB Etc.) Instead I have 8 vobs which run like this (970MB, 1GB, 1GB, 500MB, 1GB, 1GB, 1GB, 880MB) and yes it is only the one movie/one aspect. Any ways I can solve this? Maybe something that will reset timecode on original VOBs or a setting I can't find to make CCE ignore the timecodes?
