TMPG not seeing DivX5.05

after updating from divx5.03 to 5.05 TMPG no longer has this in the AVI compression options. I can still do divx as the settings were already there, I just cannot change the format. Also TMPG does no seem to see Xvid compressor. Both of these show up in Virtualdub but not TMPG. I Also got the latest build of tmpg today 2.511.51.160. Has anybody got any tips to get Divx to show in the AVI compression settings..

I really can't understand what's not working?

- You have DiVX 5.05 ?

- You have TMPGEnc / Free or PLUS ?

- Where are this settings with DiVX and XVid? I don't have it *LoL*
( Please try to explain that everybody understands what you mean! )

- Are you talking about VirtualDUB ? Then it is the wrong place!

PS: You have to re-install XViD codec!

I have TMPG Plus version 2.511.51.160, when I click output to...AVI file I nolonger get the divx showing up in the compresions list. It will still encode using Divx as the TMPG settings already had it in from before I updated to DivX 5.05. I can no longer change the encoding bitrate. I only mentioned Virtualdub becuase Divx5.05 shows up there.

Oh, okay ... i asked a friend - with 5.05 it works !

Maybe you just have to de-install divx completly out of your system and then install it again. If this won't work, but with 5.03 does, then it should be something with compatibility !?
