Hrmm MPC To Capture?

Hey everyone been lurking here for a while reading guides and stuff, was wondering while I was playing around with capturing this morning is Media Player Classic a viable option for capturing video?(Open Device in the File Menu). I have no problems with VirtualDub was just wondering.

yeah, i have been using MPC for capturing for a while, and it works great, i can compress to picvideo straight away (on the fly). this is great but it seems t be missing 2 key features that woudl make it the ideal capture program out there, in my opinion.

- It needs to support PAL capture resolution, as i can't get this when i'm using it, it' won't go above NTSC (640x480) resolution.


- it needs to support file splitting, because i'm using FAT32 and while i could make a new partition in NTFS, it could be a nice feature to have.

i hope this doesn;t sound to selfish, i really meant that Media Player Classic is one of the better capture programs out there, it just needs to achieve the superlative
