For days now I try to backup shreck and starwars2. Both movies have at the start of the movie a part that switches angles. In shreck from english to dutch and in starwars2 from english to france.
Shreck I solved by shrinking the hole movie with some quality loss.
Starwars2 I had to much quality loss.
I did ifoedits way ripping and stripping the movie. Starwars2 then starts with Inglish and switches to france and Inglish again and again untill the movie has started with chapter 3.
Did 2 Cool's "Movie only method"; "Movie only dvd using dvd95copy." Starwars2 then starts with Inglish and at the end off the intro, starts again in France.
I have tryed many differend way's to do this movie but the only way that worked was shrinking the vob containing the movie and in ifoedit in Vobextras i did select [Correct vob-unit pointers in vob files]
[Correct original IFO files]
[Create new ifo files.]
Copy the ifo's and bup's to the video_ts folder with the movie and burn the film.
My question is; do you 2cool or any body else have any idea how to get rid of the angle that functions more or less as a copy protection?

...read this buddy http://www.doom9.org/mpg/ifoedit-multiangle.htm

...you have to kill at least one angle...or you rip the two angles separate with dvddecrypter/smartripper and then author an multi angle movie with scenarist using this guide http://www.doom9.org/mpg/cce-extras.htm

Ifoedit does not see the angles I think. Using IfoEdit v0.95 I can't check them in the Vob extras options.
When I use the [Remove IIvu/Angle point.] I get the part with the angles switching from Inglish to france and back.

IfoEdit 0.95 does indeed have a problem with angles, use version 0.91 for that.

The change of Inglish to France text is also in one cell looks like switching frames to.
I have
[Ch 01] [Pg 01] [Cell 01] [V/C Id: 1/1]
[Ch 02] [Pg 02] [Cell 02] [V/C Id: 2/1] (Angle 1) switching from englis to france
[Cell 03] [V/C Id: 3/1] (Angle 2) The same as cell 02
[Ch 03] [Pg 03] [Cell 04] [V/C Id: 2/2] (Angle 1) start of the movie
[Cell 05] [V/C Id: 3/2] (Angle 2) The same as cell 04
[Cell 06] [V/C Id: 4/1] Start of the movie without Angles
[Ch 04] [Pg 04] [Cell 07] [V/C Id: 4/2]
Tryed chopperxp to remove the France part but the program does not see the angles. Any Ideas? Pleazzzz.:(

Did you get a hold of IFOedit 0.91 to remove your angles? You mentioned also French text (subtitles) so try stripping your French subtitle too at the same time.

Yes I get hold and used IfoEdit. When I keep angle 01 I get the france intro that I don't want. When I keep angel 02 what looks like the Inglish angle I get the switching of Inglish / Franc .:D
It aint the subtitles that give me problems
