iam using dvd2svcd for converting vobs to svcd and was woundering if you can increase the volume of the output file
so plze let me know

In principle you should check Autodetect gain under the audio-tab, this will bring you the optimum. You should also try the suggestions of this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=39633).

your attention to q25 in the BeSweet FAQ.
note that on the audio tab in dvd2svcd you can uncheck the 'autodetect azid gain (2 pass)' feature and then write 0.95 or -3db (or whatever) in the 'azid gain offset' textbox.
