Pro features in Gordian Knot

I would like to clarify in the problem I am having.
In the encoding section, there is the "Use Pro Features" checkbox and then bi-direction enc and gmc. My understanding is these two features are pro-only.
If i select bi-directional encoding and gmc but NOT "Use Pro features" will gmc and b-frames be enabled? I have Divx Pro 5.02 but I want to make them simple profile and not advanced simple profile.

By unchecking the use pro-features check, you disable GMC and B-Frames. If you want simple profile, you can't use these. Uncheck them all.

Well this is how I have been making movies with the Pro unselected and the bmc and b-frames selected. I should be fine with the movies I have made because I am NOT making advanced, advanced profile movies, correct?

Yes, as I understand it leaving the pro-features unchecked means that B-Frames and GMC settings are overridden by the fact that you are not using pro features.

this should be largly irrelivant now in the sense that the DivX5 codec control pannel is now used in 0.28 rather than the checkboxes in 0.27
