Just curious... I'm having very slow response times using certain functions under the Capture Mode of VirtualDub VCR + Sync. I.e., I load the program, hit capture, and it takes maybe a minute before the program is responding again. Changing channels takes maybe 10 seconds, while switching formats takes 20-30 during which the program just hangs up basically, but it gets better. Captures are perfect, 0 frame drops, etc. Here is a rundown of my system:
Athlon 2200+ with 512mb ram (very slightly overclocked)
LeadTek TV2000 XP Deluxe capture card
VirtualDub 1.4.9.2 VCR + Sync
BTWinCap 5.3.6 Drivers (took out bundled drivers completely)
Capturing at 640x480 with Marc FD's Huff YV12 codec (although this also happened with HuffYUV)
BTW, it used to be fast with the old drivers installed but I could only capture at 320x240. Just wondering if this is typical behavior or what... Oh also, I think it might have to do with the btwincap where you choose the tuner, I chose the Phillips NTSC_M one being in the US, but not sure if this is the right choice. I mean, it captures, but it's all slow and stuff loading. Any comments would be appreciated (even if it's just telling me that I'm out of luck).
