Hello,
ok, I can capture approximately 1 hour of video (i have it splitting after 1.5 gigs), after the one hour of video is completed, the rest of the file somehow mutes (very strange). The mute is active until the next file split.
So for example,
I get about 13 minutes of video per file (using mjpeg at quality setting of 90), in the 4th file (in the middle somewhere), the audio mutes for the rest of the duration of the file. Ironically, at the beginning of the 5th file, the audio returns. (normally this wouldn't bother me but when you use the timer it's annoying when you are capturing a bunch of programs and 5 minutes of audio just disappear).
Any ideas what's going on? Here's my specs and driver info:
1 GB DDR-400 RAM (clocked at 333)
Athlon 2100+ XP
Gigabyte GA-7VAXP MB KT400 chipset
Geforce2 MX 440 (not a gamer :rolleyes: ) 32 MB
2 80 GB Western Digital 7200 RPM HDs (Raid-0 via Promise On-board controller) (ATA-100) <-- boot drive
1 80 GB Maxtor 7200 RPM HD (via E-IDE bus) (ATA-133)
ATI TV-Wonder PCI (NON-VE)
SB Audigy Platinum
BtWinCap Drivers v5.3.5.0
VirtualDubVCR Build 13722 (as per capture guide)
For the most part, my caps look amazing (well, for an ATI card),
it's just this audio problem.
Also worth noting, the audio doesn't lose sync, but when I decide to convert to another format (say divx 3.11a - 5.0.x.x), I MUST offset the audio by -150ms for my 2nd pass (otherwise, the entire movie is off sync), this correction allows it to be completely in sync without adjusting my frame rate.
Possible SB Audigy driver problem? anyone heard of these problems before?
