DEAR ALL:

Someday, my friend ask me to add one subtitle into <SHAWSHANK REDE MATION>,and then nightmare comes!!

Maybe I worked wrong.here is my way:

1/Use DOITFAST 4 U to rip all the contents in the DVD,such as *.m2v and *.ac3 and *.ifo. It's totle 40 m2v files and 40 *.ac3 files.and 3 .sst files.
2/drag&drop m2v files and ac3 files in SCENARIST.
3/track edit the first m2v file(4 min),add ac3 and import subtitle(the whole film subtitle).

problem comes! it says my sst file's time code does't match the m2v file.

how can i do??? please help me. THANKS A LOT.

Your problem rises from the incompatibility between videos internal timecode that rarely is set to 0:00:00:00 and subrips that always start from this.

U can correct this by running the video through pulldown with -nopulldown switch to reset timecode or u can shift subs one by adjusting them from subrip. either of them has certain amount of labour involved.

Search for posts on wrong timecode in m2v files for further details.
