Help capturing video with v dub mod

Hi ppl, what am I doing wrong when capturing a video sample from a analog camera via composite, with a pctv studio pro, I can see the images I want to capture but when I press F6 to start recording it sayz error 424: error: cannot open the video input device
Hope you understand me, my english is not great stuff.

You need a wrapper. Alternatively you'll have to use some other software like virtualvcr.
