Xmpeg 4.5 and IFO

Why dont mine understand IFO -files? There is nothing in guide : http://www.doom9.org/xmpeg-setup.htm

And no, renaming does not chance anything.

a) why don't you use gknot
b) what does it do when you try to load an ifo file
c) what OS do you have. quite a long time ago when i still was at a beginning stage concerning dvd ripping it gave me big probs with XP
d) this is not the apporpriate forum to post this in (it is not really related to dvddecrypting
e) isn't Xmpeg 5.0 out already?

and to insert it in the Xmpeg Directory.

This plugin is required for opening IFO file or for compressing all the VOB files of one DVD by selecting only the first VOB file

a)Have YOU ever tried it? I did once: It took 2 hours to configure right settings and testing them! When I was ready to compile full movie I looked to mirror and said to My self; "No, this is really not worth it!" And I closed the program.
Has to be simplier ways... I dont have time for that.

b)Opens Xmpeg main window, nothing else.
c) Fresh install of w2k.
d)mmm... seems like not judged by Your whine...
e) Yes, it crashes like 4,2a (witch was good 4 long, used it for ½ year, guess w2k updates killed it).
f)ah, sorry... I have get used to My home-forum... Sam EARCH does not work there... thought it is present...
g)Mr Google has not been able to provide me workin dl ad for this specific file... Frensch guys cant provide any working links for dl eather... But atleast I know now It doesnt work with out it... :). That link You provided does not work.

I´d been happy User of Flask 0594 for 3 years now and I´d stay with it if I could have subst back... I have no idea what killed them... but I think M§ has something to do with it...

And Steve... Maybe You need a vacation... Y scare newbees from Ya foorum... ;) ... or was it Your intention perhaps...?

you shouldn't be mad, in this forum it's almost a natural response, probility causes of it's lack of evolution (meaning it hasn't change much since it came out), anyway, what i did was copy the files from flask into xmpeg and rename them from *.flask -> *.xmpeg (worked for me), then i found out it took forever for it to load the files (probably just me) and the confusing de-interlace option, so i went back to flask.

you should try xmpeg v5.0, the speed is faster (i think), i get about 12.5 fps (celeron 500) on encoding vcds(nstc); still confuse on the de-interlacing.

Did try with and W/O aspi -layer also; always crash somevere near 50% of the whole movie.

Yes, framerate is looking nice; 30-35fps... :) ...if it only could last to the end... :(

i have no idea what a aspi-layer is, or what it has to do with encoding; flask/xmpeg never crash on me (i guess i'm one of the lucky ones)

with newer versions, come newer bugfixes, and newer bugs.
