Is it installed by the 2.5 beta installation? What is it? Sounds ominous!

It is something to do with the image stuff Richard Berg is doing -mentioned in the devel forum. I saw it here: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47987

Sorry for the lack of notice anywhere in the documentation. It stands for DEVeloper's Image Library, and it's what allows the ImageWriter/ImageReader commands in AVS 2.5 to support a bunch of formats. See here (http://www.avisynth.org/index.php?page=Image).
