Well, IMO, talking about "backups" is quite different than talking about backups. Why the qoutes?

However, you're signature is against the rules (rule #4). Change it now. It seems to me you have difficulties understanding the rules so, if there are words you fail to understand in the list of rules, let us know and we will try and explain it to you if that is at all possible.

well that word in his sig isn't neccasrily swearing persay.. it depends on the context it's usedin I guess..

No, it does not depend on anything. His signature is profanity! Swearing is only part of what profanity covers and obscenety another. His signature is obscene and against rule # 4. I will recommend Ookami to strike him since he obviosly wont comply.

Maybe a bit harsh on this one, DVD2SVCD. You know the guy personally or what ? I can't see anything wrong with his sig, unless you believe no-one could be named Richard (Dick) and be fat at the same time...:D

Asking for a strike is really too much here if you'll allow me to express myself.
The guy just politely asked if he was allowed to talk about PS2 backups. I agree with Ookami here, and the quotes are probably more against the rules than the sig, for what they seem to imply...

By the way, DVD2SVCD, if you want to call me "obnoxious" again, please feel free to do so, but please tell me what it means for I still don't have a clue ;) (just joking, keep cool).

Well, IIRC, one user had a user name "Fat Dick" (<- aargh! Here are the quotes, again!) and the moderators that participated in another one of the infamous "User with possibly insulting nickname" thread agreed that he should be asked to change it.

So, I find it quite strange to put it in the signature after that when you were asked to change your user name (or it was changed, I don't know as I don't remember that thread).

Sometimes, we, as moderators, must waste our time with such things when we could do much more enjoying/useful stuff.

So, it seems, that there must be another thread about signature/nicknames and such things. Jolly good...
