Please forgive me if this is out somewhere in the forum, couldn't find the answer anywhere, pretty much I am looking for a straight answer and all questions I see in the forum so far are very specific.
What is the best possible way to re-encode a PAL -> NTSC stream (to get highest quality video... don't really need speed)?
I have been using TMPG and just waiting the 20+ hours for the stream to convert and be scrubbed by the filters. I generally feel scrubbing with the filters is good if I am adding frames, let me know opinions on that one too.
I've seen the scripts here to transcode, is it faster? is quality as good?
Projects I run are standard DVD5 (not interested in SVCD)
