View Full Version : Trouble with Japanese Windows XP

I'm trying to use AviSynth, rather than VFAPIConverter which I've been using, to encode with CCE SP. When I try to open my .avs file (as per the RobShot method laid out in the Guides section), the hard disk reads for about 30 seconds and then CCE crashes. My scripts are identical to those in the example (except of course for file locations), but I seem to think that my Japanese OS (WinXP) is the problem.
Can anyone give me some more info/workarounds, etc., please?

Welcome to AviSynth!
What we basicly need to help you: (after you have looked at TroubleShooting (http://www.avisynth.org/index.php?page=Troubleshooting))
* AviSynth version. (and date, if not a SourceForge release)
* The simplest possible script for recreating the error.
* The EXACT error message you get.
* VirtualDub (Mod) version.
* All information from Virtual Dub / File / File Information.
* Used plugin versions.
You are probably running into CCE bugs, so we need the script and the various program versions to help you.
