err accessing compression windows!!!!

While i open vdubmod manually and access compression windows, i get msvcrtd.dll is missing, after add this file in sys32, i get the following err

"the procedure entry point WMCreatewriteer could not be located in dll WMcore.dll"

dont what this mean, to work around what i did was i copied the plugin dir of vdub, to vdubmod dir, and the error gone,

just want to know what this err means

Note: when i run iuvcr i get this above err and the appli freezes, i hv to kill. previously i didnt hd any such problem.

i noticed the same weird behavior. when i open the compression window, vdubmod tells me, that msvcrtd.dll is missing (it even tells it twice).

but what i also noticed is, that the same error appears, when i click on ffvfw (2003-03-25 version). so would it be possible that you have also installed that ffvfw-version?

yes i hv installed the latest ffvw, but did check that error on accessing that.

Once u add plugin dir to vdudmod, the error is gone, if u add only msvcrtd.dll, u will see some other err wmcore.dll or some thing like that....

dont know whats creating this err, infom this in ffvw thread so that author can look into it if its a ffvw bug
