Hi there (and Trilight)
I used your wonderful guide for backing up Femme Fatale and I burned it and it worked great on different PCs by PowerDVD and WinDVD but...
yeah, you got the problem, not working in most stand alone players and just showing the FBI warning in some.
My guess is that I have messed up in the last step where I am supposed to update the IFO file with IFOUpdate.
In your guide you say :
Once this has been done start up IfoUpdate.
Select the path of the original IFO file to be updated (DIF4U put this in the corresponding VTS folder for you), then set the Authored IFO Path to the file Scenarist has created for you, make sure there's a valid Backup IFO path but before you press Update IFO let's have a look at the options first:
I am confused what exactly I should do. I did what you are saying and then I tried to play the DVD off my hard disk, didn't work. So I thought that I need to copy the ifo file from the VTS directory that DIF4U has created (assuming they have been updated IfoUpdate) and put it in the final directory which contains encoded VOBs and IFOs created by Scenarist. I tried again to play the DVD frm the hard disk and this time it worked. But as I said it is not working on stand alone players.
I was wondering if you could give more detailed walkthrough for this part of guide, because I am confused which directory contains the final ifo and exactly at what step I should use IfoUpdate and "Correct VTS sectors".
Thanks in advance
