How come when DIF4U performs the DVD2AVI operation and the source is NTSC it does it twice? Once the first run through is done it posts the message "----> Film Detected. Force Film activated for ......" Can this not be detected before the first pass is run? Seems like a waste to run the DVD2AVI project twice, however it is only an extra 5 minutes, but I was just curious.

The percentage of FILM or NON-FILM can change from beginning to end so the whole video file must be analyzed. You would have to do the same manually to really be certain you were making the right choice. Once it analyzes the entire file and knows that it is safe to use "Force Film" on it, it does so to write a new D2V file that has "Force Film" set on it.
