Aloha!
just a quick question regarding Maestro and subtitles. Just lemme say that I simply *love* Maestro... maybe it is not as powerful as Scenarist, but it is by far much easier to use. Just a couple of trials and you know how to author most of your material. Lovely isn't it?
Well, but life is not always easy. Actually I find it a big pain in the lower brain to rip each subtitle with SubRipper and import them one by one... mostly if you have 16+ different subtitle tracks. SO the question is: does anybody know of any way to tell subrip to rip all subtitle tracks at once? Or even better, any other program that can handle subtitles in a way Maestro understands them?
Thanks danke gracias gracies merci.

subrip can save a single file to go with all the bmps for importing straight into maestro.

Enf...

Thanks! But could you please explain how to do that in more detail?

Fmazzanti, auenf says the same thing as u do. The phrasing of your post leads one into believing that u r actually importing each sub sentence into place and auenf suggests that u save it as a son file for batch import of all the subs in a language.

What I understand, please correct me if I am wrong, is that u want a procedure or a programm that would rip all sub streams and produce all the son files read for import.

I know from relevant posts that subrip in the latest version supports cli (command line interpreter). I believe that a visit to its home site and even a question to the developer would reveal the how to.

Ye syou're right. I read my orginal post and agree about what you say.
I'm not importing subtitles one by one... the other day I backed up a movie with 32+ subtitle streams with around 1300 subs per stream. That would make something like 35000-40000 subs to import, one by one !?!
I'm not that crazy.
Actually I'm so LAZY that I was asking for a way to import all subtitle streams at once! I'll have to check what you say...
In any case, can another program be used to create subs for Maestro? Maybe other progs can do what I want more easily.
Thanks ;)
