how to disable menu buttons?

well to make it short i want to keep the original menu and only the movie, the extras are stripped, but sometimes the burned dvdr will lock up in my pioneer standalone-dvdplayer.
is there a way to disable the extra-buttons in the menu?
would be really nice if there is a way to do so :D

Yes there is, and pretty easy I must say. Go to
http://menuedit.dimad.net
and grab the marvelous menuedit program, which is meant for *exactly* what you want to do.
