It's 2-12 if I remember well. And to change them, it's been removed I think.

@THUKIS & @Sirber
In DivX 5.03 or newer, Quantizer itīs removed of Encoder Dialog Box, but you can changing them directly in system registry. Thatīs say in support home page in DivX.com.
Itīs true when say: Quantizer Min=2 y Max=12.
How changing these y other Control Rate of DivX Encoder?
1.- Run regedit.exe [in windows XP, console DOS]
2.- Locate in [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\DivXNetworks\DivX4Windows]
Here its all vars of DivX Codec.
3.- Append a Key of Control Rate:
a) Max Quantizer = 12 [default in decimal...]
b) Min Quantizer = 2 [default]
c) RC Period = 2000
d) RC Reaction Period = 10
e) RC Reaction Ratio = 20
Note: Itīs intalled DivX 5.02 these keys in system registry found.
If you encoded in DivX 5.02 encountred familiary these Variables or Keys.
