If you have a two part movie, is it possible to have the software calculate the bitrates and convert it based on using both files to come out with 3 cds..basically I have two 700 meg files, and rather than making 3 svcd's for each file, I would rather just sacrifice some quality to make 3 svcd's that include both files..can someone walk me through this? Thanks for your time, Josh

Please try a search, this has been covered before. You will have to join the avi´s and then convert as one.

This is not possible without you intervening at some point to join/split files. Obviously you could set up a batch job to do the AVIs but with this method you couldn't put 2 AVIs onto 3 discs.

The best way would be to join the AVI first (assuming they're part of the same movie) into a single AVI then it becomes alot easier.

Edit: Doh! The result of doing other things while writing a reply.
