How do I get the gmc checkbox to be enabled, it's all greyed out in the first pass and nth pass.
Also, does the 'High Def' offers that big of a difference in terms of quality over the 'Home theater' feature????
TIA

Uncheck the use of profiles completely.
The profiles doesn't mean anything for quality, they are just restrictions you may or may not want to keep within (GMC is not supported by DivX certified players, so it's not available when using the profiles)

But it makes no sense to activat GMC. It produces bigger (!) files, it's slower and it's less compatible.

You can safely activate GMC when encoding credits, forcing those moving blocks to be much more compressible.

@dahkiam: Do you have tested this? Because during the movie it doesn't save space! I have done a lot of tests, but I never checked the credits.
