@len0x
simple question, does the latest beta of gk still supports 5.02, i want this b-cause of mv file, so my second pass will be faster than without it.
currently am using 5.04, but the time taken for 2pass is same as 1pass.
Or does the mv disabled in original 2pass or its only for multi-pass???
thanks for this wounderful tool, keep up the goodwork
thanks in advance

GK 0.28 supports DivX 5.02/5.03/5.04 and XviD. In fact, you could probably get away with DivX 4.12 (though the comp. test will most likely not work).

@len0x..
thanks for the reply, what about the mvinfo.bin(motion vector info) file which is used to speadup 2pass, is this disabled in **ORIGINAL 2PASS**?? or in multipass only for 5.04.
I read a post on other thread that this mvinfo hs been disabled for multipass in 5.04 for some image problem...
Is there any difference between between original 2pass and multipass=2?? in tearms of image quality/speed???, will multipass set to 2 make 3pass??? i saw some thread about the someone saying n+1
thanks

I've no idea if 5.0.4 Original will still have mv files enabled (didn't try).
I don't think there is a difference between original and multi pass - the only thing that differs is that during multi pass divx updates log file created during first pass... Multi pass 2 will make 2 passes, not 3...

There is a difference between Multipass 2-pass and original 2-pass (at least in 5.03). Files created with quant 2 have slightly different filesizes.
Which one is better to use when only doing 2 passes? I have no idea. I've been using multipass as I see it more convinient (if you for instance get a slightly over/undersized you can do a 3rd pass where you adjust the bitrate slightly instead of redoing a second pass).
