View Full Version : A few Maestro questions

I've authored up a DVD from scratch (not reauthoring another DVD). It's got one video title with two audio tracks and a subtitle track. My first question: when I compile the project, Maestro seems to leave all the extra empty audio and subtitle tracks in. So in my DVD player as I scroll through to choose an audio track, there's the two real ones, then six empty ones. Same thing for subtitles: one real track, then 31 empty ones. How can I get rid of these extra, empty audio and subtitle tracks?

My second question has to do with navigation. I've got a simple two-part menu: a main menu page and an audio/subtitle menu page. The only menu button on the DVD that seems to do anything is the regular "menu" button. The root menu button is dead, as well as the audio menu function. I've got "first play" and "title menu" linked to my main menu page in the connections screen. How do I link something to the root menu and audio menu buttons?

the other audio tracks appear there in PC dvd players, but they are ignored on standalones, if you dont like them, use ifoedit to kill them.
