spruce up- burning error

when i try to burn it compiles but then gives me the following error.

opps, guess it didn't attach the picture. anyway, it says:
"the remaining disc write operations will be aborted." and nothing else.

i still cant get it to burn so i made the title set and it made an AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folder. the audio one is empty and the video one has the vobs, ifos and bups. if i just burn those two folders as a dvd-rom iso in nero will it work?

Hi petefol,

it will 100% not work. If it is well authored you can burn it as UDF/ISO (or something like that - i don´t remember the exact term). I guess that DVD-VIDEO format in Nero doesn´t work in many standalones. You can also try ImgTools from CouJo (you can download it from doom9´s download section). I never have any problem with this program. ;)

i used imgtools and it just made a file with no extension. what should i use to burn it?

That error, when it pops up immediately, usually means the content is too large to fit on a DVD-R.

To burn image made by ImageTool you can use DVD Decrypter in ISO/W mode. It goes pretty easy. :)

P.S. You can also burn your compilation (not an image) directly with ImgTool 0.99.x and newer. ;)

what should the extension be if i made the image in imgtools? the file is only 4.3gb.

There is no difference between .ISO and .IMG extensions in images made by ImgTool.

And the size of this image is almost perfect :) .

4 700 000 000 B = 4482 MB = 4,377 GB so 4,3 GB is very close to it.
