Have u choosed the right burner in Nero so it not only burns to virital device(your HD).
Is Nero set to only testburn?
Dont want you to seem stupid but are you doing it this way:
Open Nero - Kill the wizard - Go to archive - Choose Burn Image - Locate an load your cue. file - uncheck testburn - check disc at once - choose a proper speed - burn.

How many more times will this issue be raised? The search button and Q+A are there for a reason!

As desen says firstly check that nero is not set to burn to the virtual device and that your burner is correctly selected in the CD Recorder menu.
Secondly there is mention in the faq's about a foolproof way to burn these images. Try using it!
Better still a nice guy called Mr Bass has put a guide on his site.
http://www.mrbass.org/dvd2svcd/burn/

More worrying is that VCDEasy thinks your media are not blank but you think they are. Is this because you put them in your standalone DVD player and get "Disc Error" or "No Disc" type messages? If so you might want to check your player in the "DVD Players" list at
http://www.dvdrhelp.com/ to check your player can actually play them!

Also, once you have installed Daemon Tools as linked from Mr Bass's site you will be able to check the image files play OK using a software player (WinDVD, PowerDVD etc).

If the image files play OK, you burn them with the foolproof method and your DVD Player actually plays SVCD then it will work. If there is a problem with the image files not playing when mounted in Daemon Tools, post your logfile and an account of the exact problem and we'll try again.

Otherwise good luck.

I want to excuse to all the users I might of offended by the way I wrote my first forum note. This IS the first time I actually work with forums after all. And yes, I did not take my time to read the rules. Sorry again.
Searching for Q+A. Well beleive me I´ve been searching for some time in the net and I did actually get alot of howtodos but none worked yet.

Now let me try things out like you sayed and Ill write back when Im finished.

PS: Yes the disk must of been empty. Nor windows or the nero cd-checking tools could read any data and claimed the disk empty.

KashBerlin, I think I might have actually had this happen the other day on XP. Nero and the internal XP CD burn routines both said My disk was not empty. It was a head scratcher, I am pretty sure I just rebooted and all was ok. Else, I would have deleted the device in device manager and then rebooted. Obviously try the first before the second.

Oh, yeah, your post did suck :) but it sounds like you will do better, right? :)

@KashBerlin everyone understands what you mean about being new to a forum, we all start off that way kinda like talking for the first time. Problem is were not a baby sitter or do we have time to walk you or anyone around like an mindless animal or someone that can't use all of his working brain.

With that said, dont make up reasons of why you are lazy or think that rules don't need to be understood instead spend your time learning how to function in such a forum and how to search and read before you post again. This place is pretty serious when it comes to people being lazy on the none use of the search and just some basic lurking before you make a post. Other then that welcome and happy encoding:)
