Hello this is driving me crazy !!! i'm using the k7d msi board , (its red) with bios 1.0 . I have a rio 600 mp3 player , but the bad news is it needs the crappy rio audio manager to upload files. (no drag n drop :() well first things first ... it won't detect it first time , you load up Rio audio manager (R.A.M) and it try's do detect the player but nope nothing happens , it pops up with a box saying "could not detect , try turning off the power and unplugging and reconnected the usb cable" so i do ...and then it will load up the player listing the tracks that have been placed on it (some times it will not load up) after this i select the tracks i want to upload to it , and it will upload about 3/4 and then nothing ..the software just freezes  i wait for a while (i have waiting up to an hour ) and it seems to have copied the track after the one it have froze on (if that makes sense) and that’s it . its driving me crazy , it did this before but i have recently upgraded the firmware from 1.1 to 1.55 and now 1.56 . The reason I upgraded firmware was to try to get wma 9 to work correctly (supported on the web site) i have tried everything , so thought it was time to throw in the towel and ask for some help :D it seems to freeze on wma 8 not MP3.

Summary

not detected properly in rio audio manager (software from rio)
IS detected in windows 2000
Software (R.A.M) freezes after about the 3rd wma track has been uploaded but uploads the next rack also
Freezes on wma files fine on wma

I think there are 2 things wrong, but I have search and searched and can’t find any similar problems .

i can see ther are wma issues and R.A.M issues , but i have no idea how to fix , what do you do when you have tried everything?

Any help / comments / suggestions will be warmly welcomed :D:D
