I just picked up a copy of the April APC (Australian Personal Computer) magazine to find it contained an article on how to rip DVDs to DivX.

Interested to see how they went about doing it I bought the mag and was suprised to see them using GKnot it their tutorial, and to find a copy of the GKnot 0.27 rippack and System pack on the cover CD.

Although sadly there was no reference to Doom9's site (apart from the link to http://gknot.doom9.org)

So that's gotta be some good publicity for Gordian Knot as it nears the release of v0.28 :)

You can read the article online here (http://www.apcmag.com/apc/apcmag.nsf/1_alldocs/015CBFB42C6784D5CA256CF6000E4457)

For those of you who don’t know APC is a commercial, well known quality PC mag in Australia.

Does this mean that since you are "on the map" so to say you will start charging for Gknot?

I don't think you have to worry.

Although it's not my call to make, I seriously can't see that happening.

Afterall it's just been open sourced :)
