OGM file format

Hi all.

I'm trying to find any information about OGM file format.
I have try to find something at vorbis.com, but failed.

Somebody knows a physical format of a file? (Something like a AVI description in Video for windows programmers guide).

I do not want to use their library. It is too big. All that is necessary for me is the data of header. (Resolution, used codecs, number and types of streams, etc).

OGM was and still is not official Xiph. That is why you find nothing on it over there. IIRC though Tobias the creater of OGGDS that began OGM is now working with Xiph which is why there have not been any new releases of OGGDS in a while. As to the file structure IIRC there is no real good documentation ATM. Perhaps your best bet would be to look at the source of Keopi's OGGmux on source forge or IIRC Cyrus's OGM code that is part of Virtualdub-Mod. You can also of course speak to both of them here as well.

koepi's Oggmuxer code wont be of much help i guess, its mainly calling Tobias' DShow filter for the muxing process IIRC .... ask Cyrius or Mosu on irc.corecodec.com #matroska, they can for sure help you ;) ....
