dvddecrypter settings for memory use

is there a setting to use more memory so as to reduce the threshing on the harddrive?

If its thrashing, try defragging it first. You're transferring a lot of data... its bound to go a little bit mad! The hdd writing is actually controlled by the OS because it buffers the writes and not the program.
