Looking for Program to play SVCD

I have few SVCD that my family send me from Europe, they will not play on my DVD player, is there a software that will allow me to play it on computer, and where can I get this software. Thanks

You can use PowerDVD or WinDVD for playback.

Google should help you finding them.

You might also want to check out _http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdhacks and do a search for your DVD player to see if there are any region code hacks for your player.

sthsvcd is a freeware (S)VCD player, a download link can be found via the search engine. As for region hacks, they would most likely not help with svcd playback ...
