I have tried to do Gone in 60 Seconds 4 times now with IC, and each time it dies around 888 megs into VTS_02 set. No title sets were removed, entire dvd ripped with dvd decrypter first. any ideas why it is crashing?

Also, I am unable to convert to ISO or extract files with PDI tool or pdi extract.

There are 18 PGC's in VTS_02 vob set. How can i figure out which one it is taking a sh|t on ?

When VTS_02 is left at 100%, IC didn't crash. Seems it has a problem resizing.

Are your crashes repeatable, even after re-booting? I had a weird situation where IC hung during transcoding. Prior to that, the preview window had weird orange/yellow blotches near the bottom. My theory is that another program (smartripper, windvd, or ifoedit) had a memory leak or resource allocation problem, messing up the windows xp graphics kernel. The problem disappeared on re-boot. I also changed the size of the resize by a fraction of a percent. Who knows if that fixed the problem. Anyway, the blotches were gone. Friggin crazy software or OS behavior.

I take it you haven't seen my guide on why IC crashes
check it out
why IC crashes (http://www.deano.dsl.pipex.com/temp/sims2.htm)
if you still are stumped just ask and I'll try to help you bypass the crashing :)

Well I ended up being ablt to leave that VTS set at 100%, and it didnt crash. I stripped some other stuff with ifoedit to allow for room. Just seemed weird how it could do it fine with that vts at 100% but not resized.

it doesn't crash at 100% cos it ain't processing the low bitate video content, it just directly copies it across untouched :)

Two or three weeks ago I was processing the movie on the Bloody Sunday dvd. IC crashed near the end when it attempted to compress it. Per Mister X's recommendation, I looked at the last vob id and saw a huge black gap after the end of the credits (a song was playing). This vob id was then removed by ifoedit. IC still crashed. My ugly solution to this whole problem was to just delete the last chapter, and re-compress. IC worked on the third attempt.
This is a serious bug in IC and the question is when will it be fixed?
