Hi, i am using the latest gordian knot 0.28 b3 with codec pack 0.8

Ive followed the guide on this site to every detail, i do whats needed in dvd2avi, save the project file & ac3. Then i go to gordian knot, and try to open the d2v file woth gordian knot, and then it says : file is not a valid dvd2avi project file (v.176, avi or avs file!

what good this be ? i never use to have this problem, i also tried to latest dvd2avi but that didnt make a difference .

Please help

the project file has hardcoded links to the disk/folder where the .vob files are stored. If you have deleted or moved the .vob files, you can get this error. Test by opening .d2v project in dvd2avi.

Ok this isnt the case.

Ive discoverd someting else, when i rip dvd it works fine, but when i load in my capture avi that i have captured with m y pctv pro card, then i still get this error, even i dont move the files.

The file is mpeg 2 video en mpa audio. Can this cause the problems ?
I have to say this used to work fine in gknot 0.27.

I mean i can encode to divx in 0.27, but personally i like xvid more for my movies.
