O.k. folks, I am quite sure that I have made a very stupid mistake but I am definitely not able to find out which one.... maybe you can help.
Some time ago I have processed quite some items with DVD2SVCD and burned them on CDs. After that, I have deleted all files from my HD except *.mpv, *.ac3, *.mp2, just to save some of the precious disk space. All items were running well from CD in nice quality.
Now, as a proud owner of a DVD burner, I would like to put all of these items on DVD and I wanted to use those mpv and ac3 files as input for an authoring proggy. However, ALL mpv files show an erratic picture. The righthand quarter of the picture is cut off and there constantly appear blocking artefacts on the right border. Note, these artefacts do not exist in still pictures of the movie, just when playing it.
If I have understood this well, the mpv files as CCE output are an intermediary step of the DVD2SVCD process, so they CANNOT be erratic if the final bbmpeg muxed files were o.k. What is my mistake ?? Thanks in advance.
