Hi all

I'm using scenarist and i have a project with a chapter that has 2 angles that i can
change easily by pressing the angle button on the remote.
What i need, is a way to have a button on a menu that will do the same as the angle button on the remote, that can change the angle seamless without starting the chapter from the begining.

Any suggestions ?

thx

Just to further this conversation; I am having a similar problem.
I have a video stream with another angle and would like to change it by pressing the enter button.

As A380 said, I have set the button command to set angle/sub etc. then checked the link and set jump by sub > no jump. This all works as intended in the Scenarist simulation window but not on a burnt disk or windvd (usually crashes the player)
Has anyone successfully done this or knows a good work around to create a similar effect

cheers

It appears that standard DVD players (both software and standalone) don't support this feature, although it works in Scenarist. Apparently, they don't store sufficient information to resume to the different angle. Come to think about it, if you press Menu button while playing a multi-angle cell, you can't change the angle with the remote while in the menu. You always resume to the same angle.

I suppose the workaround could be creating many short (few seconds) cells within the multi-angle segment. This way when you resume to the beginning of the current cell, it's just a couple of seconds earlier than the point at which you pressed the menu button.
