Are you trying to load a DivX log file to see the compressability percentage?

AFAIK that can be done with DivX 5.03+ as the log files that's written have been changed. Just do a normal comp. test and the percentage will be there. There's no "loading" involved anymore.

N_F is right... (that logs from 5.0.3+ _cannot_ be loaded this way)
Although you cal load vdenc.log from comp test or first pass...

Correct. Though if I understand len0x correctly you should be able to load the vdenc.log file, in that case you could rename it to a unique name so it won't be overwritten. I haven't tried opening the vdenc.log from a comp. test myself, but if he says it's so then I guess it's so.

if you rename it and try to load it won't work though...
(otherwise I cannot see if it is 5.0.2 log or VD log)

p.s. in beta 5 there is a small bug (which is already fixed but not published yet): you only can load vdenc.log from directory where final avi will be resigned...
