Strange Problems with "The Big Hit" (RC2/PAL)

Hi,
I have strange problems, when making a backup
from this German RC2 DVD:
When playing the movie from DVD-ROM I get the
german menue and the german audio track in the
main movie. But when I play the ripped version
in Power DVD I get the GERMAN MENUE but the
ENGLISH AUDIO TRACK in the main movie.

This error occours regardless if I use
DVD Decrypter or Smart Ripper. Even when
I do a full backup without removing user
restrictions, macrovision or region
code the error occours.

I have no idea how something could happen.
Some backround about me: althoug I'm by far
no expert, i have striped down a lot of dvds
already with ifoedit (removing copyright notices
and language selection screens)and even reauthored
some of them completly 'by hand' so I have
some idea how thinks work. but this time
i have not a clue at all, what could have went
wrong.
