Doesn't matter to me if anything else is working good.

RM9 -codec have proved many times that there is absolutely no need to do more than one pass and it can still beat other codecs in many situations..Why? Because no matter how many passes you are gonna do, the macroblocks with other codecs are still there when using low bitrates. But they are never there when using RM9. Under water scenes, fire, fog..all without that horrible pixelation.
I don't use DivX 5.04 just because I can use n+1 passes, do you?

But seriously I am gonna give this a try. I have already used previous one many times when testing avs-scripts (Speed is very nice) and sometimes even replaced my huffy with it when editing clips and my HD is on pretty low capacity. So I hope you have added something like 120% quality to that codec :)

Hi,
I wanted to try out the 3ivx-codec, but after the installation oggmux gui and vdubmod were hanging when i tried to open an *.avi with divx and ac3-content (maybe for other content, too, i didn't try). I uninstalled the 3ivx codec while vdubmod was hanging, and as soon as the deinstaller was finished, my avi was opened. :confused:
Btw. Playback in Zoomplayer worked all the time.

By RM9 you mean WM9 or RV9? There is no Real Media 9...

I remember that I have saw this kind of deja vu earlier..from you :)

No offence of course..I guess I relly never remember what they call these days..but it will always be real media for me..RM=real media :)

if I use rv it's like real video for me but if the container include both audio and video, then I call it real media :)
