Erasing DVD+RW movies

I have an HP DVD 200I burner. I have made a few movies on it but would like to remove them. I cannot seem to get them removed from the disk. Could someone give me some direction on how to do this.

I currently have Sonic DVD software, and Roxio 6.0.

I personally just write over the old movie with a new one using Nero.

Yeah I figured out how to erase it, but I can't seem to get "Sonic" to recognize to disk as cleared so i can burn more TV shows to disk.
